DRPX (formerly known as DERRTY PROJEXX) is a duo from Kota Kinabalu, Sabahfounded in 2010. The duo having started their career in Dubstep have since evolved into what it is today. DRPX consists of two members, Willy T. & Brian D. With backgrounds in formal musical theory, mashing classical music and modern music became their forte. They have joined forces with Bassfriends Records, based in Kuching, Sarawak which focused on 100% bass music. DRPX challenges their own boundaries by performing, producing & experimenting with all kinds of music; from Dubstep to Trap, Moombahton, Electro House, Fidget, Future Bass, you named it. Give them a list and they will make it work! In 2013, travelling to KL seemed like the right thing to do and they managed to perform in a various clubs in Kuala Lumpur such as Plan X, @Loft, Platinum 21, Esperance KL, Rootz KL, and Gravity KL. In 2014, they won a DJ competition and they managed to perform at Mysterious World 2014 held in SCV, Sarawak. It was a festival where they were able to perform alongside some the greats, such as DVBBS, Vinai, Tony Junior, Uberjak'D, Alvaro, Dirtcaps, and many more. In 2016, The Subway Tandoori song was what put DRPX on the map. When the promo for Subway's Chicken Tandoori sandwich came out, someone had made a spoof video and the guys from DRPX jumped on the bandwagon.
