E. Da Beat-Detonator - Rap/Hip Hop producer from Sneek, Holland. E. DaBeatdetonator has been involved with all aspects of hiphop since the beginning. Born in the seventies in Sneek, a city in the north of the Netherlands, he discovered and got inspired by the first hiphopgroups like UTFO, and started his own career by the name 'Grandwizard Elgee'. He started all-round, combined all elements of hip hop, such as breakdance, poplockin', graffiti art and DJ-ing. As 'Grandwizard Elgee' he made a few demo's on tape in '89. He was part of the 2CRUSHKLAN and the WRECKIN'CREW. In the nineties he changed his name into 'Elgee da Enforcer' and started to focus on his solo rap-career. In 1996 the first solo debut-album 'Realheadz' came out, containing his own productions and self written lyrics. He never went out of sight and another EP 'Verbalized Thoughts' came out on CD in 1998. As Elgee da Enforcer, he rocked the stage as often as he got the opportunity and he started to collaborate with local MC's from his hometown, who were also seriously adapt to the game. Life experiences gave him new inspiration for the album 'AT DA POINT OF NO RETURN' (ADPONR, 2007). This album contains guest appearances by MC TRASE, Mo'Beats and DJ SNIPER. Elgee produced the entire album. He felt it was time to stick to that produce-mode and changed his name to E. DaBeatdetonator and focussed on producing new beats and songs. 2012/2013 E. collaborated with several underground hip hop artists and produced tracks (by E. DaBeatdetonator for FRESHMESS/Music). In 2013 the hip hop crew RAW CONTENT (MC TRASE, DJ COLD CRUSH and E. DaBeatdetonator) was born and they launched their first album on october 31. They hail from the Netherlands and make raw underground music that pays a homage to the four elements of hip hop
