Hi there! My name is Ilya Buyaev (or as i nicknamed myself - Eli Yaev). I am a freelance creative illustrator and animator, working and living in Europe. In motion design, I specialize in traditional frame-by-frame animation, character animation, and background design for (yep, of course, for animation). My main sources of inspiration are the legacy of the legendary anime studio Ghibli and French animation. As an illustrator, I work in different styles which my clients prefer. But my true passion for art is Renaissance, Art Nouveau epoch, and traditional Japanese woodcut prints ukiyo-e. I try to incorporate it in my illustration projects.
