(E-Shay) (Buh-Rah-Vee) As an audio production major and a music minor at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, Eshé Bhairavi has learned to appreciate herself as a creative being. In the summer of 2014 she started to record her music seriously and has never looked back since. In one year she has been featured at Just Yell open mic in Chicago, rapped in Lyrical Lemonade's Chicago's Biggest Cypher Ever, 2.0, released an EP titled In My Room in May 2015, performed at numerous open mics and college comunity events and at DIY venues all across the Carbondale area. Because of this she has won the hearts of many college students at SIUC. She has had the pleasure of meeting and working with fabulous talents in the Chicago area such as Chase the Moose and [Mees]. In her vists back to Chicago, she is an active attendee of Young Chicago Authors (YCA) and constantly networks to build her brand. With her hip hop, neo soul, and jazz background, she aims to bring back that respect, honor, and pride of the femcee in hip hop culture.
