    uniE603 Light Cycle
Exploring darkness and sunlight, 'Light Cycle' creates a musical world where both darkness and sunlight is represented by sound. #audio #Classical #Contemporary #Contemporary #Classical #Totalism
    uniE603 Pühapaik
For double string orchestra. Pühapaik represents a mental sanctum. The pieces soft sustaining quality represents the continuity and calming nature of this sanctum; the prolonged Fmaj 2nd chord representing a brief moment of time, that is expanded into an ample moment of observation. Pühapaik, meaning sanctum in Estonian, is intended as a homage to Arvo Pärt. Though not directly inspired by Pärt, it shares a similar harmonic language and simplicity to his music. Composed 2014. #audio #Classical #Minimalism #PostMinimalism #Contemporary #Classical
uniE603 Study for an Electronic Orchestra
Orchestral instruments fed through electronics and plug-ins create a unique electronic sound-world with traces of its acoustic origin. The piece is divided into 3 parts, of which varying instruments are experimented with to create different timbres. #audio #Classical #Electronic #Contemporary #Classical
    uniE603 Lamentation
Composed in collaboration with a choreographer for a small dance piece. Lamentation explores different emotions in different states of movement. #audio #Dance #Classical #Contemporary
uniE603 An Evolution Of 'Spem In Alium'
Exploring the definition of Sonority, this piece takes one of the most famous pieces of music from the Renaissance period, and uses electronics/plug-ins/effects to alter the pieces sonority, unfolding audible patterns implicit in the piece, as well as gradually evolving the piece into different acoustic states. The original recording of Spem In Alium that was used, was the 2004 recording by The Tallis Scholars with Peter Phillips. All credit for the original recording goes to them. #audio #Classical #Electronic #Renaissance #Thomas #Tallis #Contemporary #Spem #In #Alium
    uniE603 Pulsations
Pulsations explores orchestration by grouping unusual wind and percussion instruments, and the doubling those instruments together. The piece is moved along by a consistent pulse, and gradually disregards its 4/4 time signature, letting the instruments flow freely throughout, bringing together a piece that feels airy and weightless. #audio #Classical #Minimalism #Contemporary
    uniE603 Rolling Along
Partly inspired by John Adams 'China Gates', (perhaps greatly inspired...). Rolling Along is a piece for piano that restricts itself to only using 6 notes and sustains interest by constantly changing melodic placement. #audio #Minimalism #Classical #Contemporary #Classical
    uniE603 Wind (Excerpt Freedom)
A choir and string orchestra mimic the sound of wind, enveloping the nature of this element. #audio #Classical #Contemporary #Contemporary #Classical #Mimesis
