The turnarounds were brutal and the delivery window non-negotiable, but I believe it is the discipline I developed to meet these goals that sets me above the rest. Bigwig Magazine / Editor September 1995 - December 1997 Editor and co founder of Scotland’s alternative music magazine. A full colour 48 page glossy with full industry ads, broad ranging editorial and a readership of 45,000. Our brand promotions led to me writing copy for Cuervo tequila and After Shock liqueur. Responsible for the entire content of the magazine from initial ideas, commissioning, editing, production and distribution. BBC/ Broadcaster January 1999 - December 2005 Presented own show on BBC Radio 1 Scotland. Wrote own scripts, conducted research and interviews, provided web content for the platforms. Presented various TV shows for the BBC stations including T in the Park, Glastonbury, The Culture Show, Hot Pursuits and more. Heavily involved in all scripting Channel 4 / Producer/researcher December 1997 - December 1999 Producer and researcher on many different programmes including Deals On Wheels, Wild Harvest, Edinburgh Nights and the Jo Whiley Music Show. Script writing, research documents, question writing, culture writing, comedy and voiceover ICast New Media / Company Director December 2005 - December 2011 New media production for record labels, publications, brands, websites, TV and film companies. Clients included Disney, Sony Pictures, Myspace, Channel Four, Podshow, Mevio, Virgin, NME Radio, Hospital Club and many more ㅡ Education University of Glasgow / MA (joint hons) Class of 1995 Joint honours in Film, TV and Theatre.
