uniE603 02 Get Down To It
One of the infamous 'lost songs' of Joey Racano, written and recorded by joey racano in Florida, in 1983 as part of the ICE project. Most of the master tapes were lost or destroyed by Jim Becker of Soundcheck Studio, Fort Meyers Florida. Out of about 30 recordings only 5 survived when I absconded with an 8 track multi tape and 31 years later had it 'baked' This was recorded in Florida in February, 1983 by my band ICE on Ampex 456 and had to be baked 31 years later by David at Thin Brown Line Studios in Anaheim Hills California. Finally mixed and mastered at Sutton Sound in Atascadero California by Rick Sutton. Joey Racano- Gut/Ld and bk Vocs Chuck Ugalde- Bass bk vocs Mike Sciarinno- Drums originally engineered by Alan Knapp All words and music by Joey Racano #audio #Racano joey music rock blues ugalde sciarinno

uniE603 'Time' and 'Playin' it from the Heart' by joey racano LIVE!
Joey Racano plays guitar and sings two original songs with his band the Tigersharks at 5 Points Bar & Grill, Huntington Beach, California, 1994. The Tigersharks (for this concert) were: Joey Racano: Guitar & Vocal Gary Geiser: Bass Ron 'Pepper' Gaddis: Drums Lyrics to 'Time' written by joey racano: 'Time goes by like a river rolls to sea can't imagine why it should mean a thing to me You can't hold it, it's so hard to see but it builds mountains, turns a seed to a tree they call it Time, Time, Time tells no lie Time rolls by and those mountains tumble down All things die and melt into the ground but while down there, there's no time to play Something sends 'em back a whole 'nother way they call it time time time Forever on it goes Strands of Time, they float from up above The great clock chimes, find someone to love It could be yellow and maybe it's green Pushed around by something I've never seen they call it Time, Time, Time like a never ending road Lyrics to 'Playin' it from the Heart' by joey racano: Played a lot of blues in the ghetto for kooks crooks quarters and dimes livin' with the pandhandlin' paupers drug dealers and crimes I slept out in the rain, but you won't hear me complain I just done my time Singin' with the boys on the corner and the police would break us apart We'd find another corner to begin and then again we'd start Slept out in the street Didn't always get enough to eat but I Played it from the Heart Played it from the Heart, yeah... Well I'm hopin' and I'm prayin' everything is gonna be alright But I don't know if I'm stayin' in the same place I did last night I ain't about a house and lot's of money no, I ain't about no big fine car but I'm gonna get discovered by somebody maybe here, in this bar! I'm gonna tear this place apart Gonna put one on the chart 'cause I Play it from the Heart! Play it from the Heart, yeah... Well I'm hopin' and I'm prayin' everything is gonna be alright But I don't know if I'm stayin' in the same place I did last night Well here I am in Southern California I brought that look in my eye Swearin' that I'm either gonna make it or that I'm gonna die I'm gonna tear this place apart Gonna put one on the chart 'Cause I Play it from the Heart Play it from the Heart, yeah... Well I'm hopin' and I'm prayin' everything is gonna be alright But I don't know if I'm stayin' in the same place I did last night guitar solo end #audio #Rock Roll #time #playin #it #from #the #heart #racano #joey #gary #geiser #bass #ron #pepper #gaddis #drums #rock #music #performance #live #concert #blues #jam #recording #huntington #beach #california #music #scene #original #songs
