Hello! My name is Maria Luisa Jiménez and I am an artist and illustrator and designer. I am from Valencia, Venezuela and I studied in the “Instituto de Diseño de Valencia”. I have been painting and drawing since I remember and I love it, specially playing with colors in a canvas. Even though, technology is really important and in this era is an essential tool, so Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Corel Painter are software that I can manage without difficulty. I lived in England for a year, after that I went back to Venezuela and worked as a graphic designer in Quiznos for two years and as freelance Illustrator. After that I worked in the design of DOT (Tap to DOT) application and I too did an exhibition of my art in October. Right now I am doing a Master in Digital Editions in Barcelona, Spain. This Master is about a very innovating publication that brings together the information of a book or a magazine with the interactivity of an app. It is a new way to keep you interested in reading, and a new way to advertise your products.
