Piotr Nermer is a Polish violinist, composer and arranger. He is a classically trained musician (graduated from the Frederic Chopin University of Music) whose interests are focused on music for audiovisuals. As a film composer, he attended masterclasses with Christopher Young, Richard Bellis, Gavin Greenaway and Jan A. P. Kaczmarek, to name a few. Piotr was a finalist of the Transatlantyk Film Music Competition and a two-time finalist of the Krakow Film Music Festival Young Talent Award. Films with his music have been screened at festivals around the world (USA, Mexico, Spain, New Zealand, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland). As a session musician he recorded many solo parts for films, video games, commercials and even for a musical setting of the Legendia theme park in Chorzów, Poland. As a composer of soundtracks for short films, Piotr has decided to create a debut EP release, Die Zeit Vertreiben (2020). Its title is a reference to the poem by R. M. Rilke
