    uniE613 Projeto Mulheres
    The project "Mulheres" aims to show that as well as men, women also played a major role in the arts, therefore seeks to highlight characteristics of specific artists in order to highlight their respective works. When we think of the art world names, automatically comes to mind names of male artists, due to the history of a patriarchal and therefore male-dominated society. We found in our field research that the information that is conveyed in the media about the art world, do not address the importance of women properly. To present to the public some artists, the project developed a roadmap including some of the major museums and exhibitions where the works can be found. With this project we want to reach the young audience of 10 to 30, who do not have extensive knowledge about women and their importance for modern art. The chosen script covers the major museums in the city of São Paulo that expose the works of leading artists of the modern movement of the early twentieth century. Among them is the Tomie Ohtake Institute, exposing the work of the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, the São Paulo Art Museum (MASP) and the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, where you can find the works of Anita Malfatti and Tarsila do Amaral. We designed a logo that aims to convey the identity of the woman artist, portrayed as if it were a self-portrait. The face is a minimalist representation of artists and may vary to identify a specific artist. The circle around the woman figure is a kind of mirror, referring again to the self-portrait, characteristic of the main artists of the project. The final element that composes the logo design is a dotted line that aims to bring reference to sewing, to the modern age would be an activity practiced by women. The dotted portrayed in the logo design follows throughout the visual identity of the same, varying the colors and thicknesses, in order to characterize the project. Besides the central logo, the Women project also includes three (3) other elements that would be as if they were Tags, where shows the three (3) core artists of the project: Frida Kahlo, Anita Malfatti and Tarsila do Amaral. #GraphicDesign #VisualIdentity #Logo More on: https://www.twine.net/signinWW
