Octofly Art is an free project that starts at the end of 2013.
The Art director of this idea is Silvia Pezzotti, an artist graduated in Painting, at the Academy of Fine Arts "Santa Giulia" located in Brescia.
All works of this new brand have a strong handicraft mark, based on a traditional knowledge, but itincorporates also a great range of new digital technologies.
Octofly Art arises from the desire to express a different kind of art:
Images and shapes have a cartoon style close to the street art background, figures are marked by humor and creativity, made with many different techniques, without any limitations.
Typical features of this art are soft, imaginative, extravagant and joyful images, a universe populated by constantly evolvingmonsters and creatures.
Octofly’s workscovermany artistic fields, mainly:
•Paintings on canvas and wood, especially with acrylic colors and uniposca.
•Illustrations with various techniques and on different panels
•T-shirts in limited edition, whit the option to request specific models and drawings.
•Graphics and logos for promotion companies, small businesses, shops and private firms.
•Customization of objects, any kind, like shoes, helmets and lamps.
•Outsideor insidemurals.
Octofly art has participated and collaborated to several projects till now, including:
•"Wall in art", a“Vallecamonicacommunity mountain” initiative created to valorise some significant places with wall paintings.
•"Smart in the City", an art competition, ended in Milan with a live painting, where finalists, including Octofly arts, could present their works to the public.
•"Shadow of the forest", a illustrated book for children and adults, published inebook format.
•Member of the Annual sales exhibition in Pisogne, since 2014.
Many others projects are still in progress, and Octofly Art remains available for any requets or cooperation offer.
