My name is Freeman, and I've been playing piano since I was 5. My early musical experience included playing classical music and winning several awards at the Hong Kong Inter-School Music Festival. I then moved to study in the United Kingdom at the age of 14, and both boarding schools, Woodbridge School and Queens Ethelburgas, awarded me a Music Excellence Scholarship. At 16, I also achieved the ATCL piano diploma with distinction (top score in my county). Following that, I studied music at the University of Cambridge, graduating with honors( with piano performance) in 2022. While at university, I served as the musical director for the University Jazz Orchestra, which was responsible for the creation of concert programmes and performed in high-profile gigs (including performing for Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Honorary Fellows such as Reverend Jesse Jackson), gaining a reputation for excellence in performance.
Additionally, I had a chance to play with Grammy-winning artist Jacob Collier. In addition to performing, I also studied with Mike Ladouceur, Professor of the Royal College of Music and University Of Cambridge, Hollywood film composer (who composed the film Black Widow) for film score arrangement. Stories of what people have gone through with their lives and what is going on in their beautiful minds and hearts. Stories of love. Stories of hate. Stories of fantasies. Stories of history and war. Sometimes, words are not enough to describe stories and emotions.
