Claudio Femia is a skilled and spirited vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist making original and cover music that transcends all normal expectations. Femia’s career began to grow and this led him to take a leap of faith by quitting his daily job in 2019 and become a full-time musician. Now, as a fully-developed recording artist and performer, he’s able to bring his personal expressions to listeners around the world and touch their everyday lives.
When asked what motivates him to pursue music, Femia responds “Music is liberation. Through it, one reveals one’s inner self such as loves, demons, fears, joys, sorrows. It is a very rich form of expression because it allows us to tell stories, to describe moments. It is a photograph of a particular time.” He’s a true seeker of meaning, which is obvious and impossible to miss when hearing his songs for the first time. He refuses to repeat himself and continually evolves his sound and ideas. I play the guitar, bass guitar, piano, kalimba and melodic. I also feel attracted to all the things that make interesting sounds making them potential instruments to me.
My main tools for work are Ableton Live, Cubase, Adobe Audition, reason. I also have knowledge in programming tools like Unity, Puredata, Processing and Arduino.
I'm interested on specializing on audio and sound atmospheres.
