I'm Anita, an artist/designer as well as a practising architectural & interior designer.
When it comes to illustration, the majority of my work is representational, though not usually hyper-realistic. My artistic style is generally the result of me simplifying compositions to produce a more minimalist result. I also enjoy experimenting and embellishing my work with colour.
In order to create harmonious pieces which effectively communicate their desired message, whether it is a piece of brand collateral or an illustration, I consider many of the same elements that I would when designing in 3D e.g. proportions, balance, texture, contrast, simplicity, focal points, patterns, shape, colour, leading lines etc.
