My name is Laura, I'm a 26 years old artist from Madrid, Spain (GMT +2). I've been a freelancer for 6 years now, working on art but also creating a community on social media (mostly X/Twitter) where most of my customers come from.
I consider myself a cheerful, optimistic and social person who can easily focus on a project and work hard until it's done. I'm looking for a job as a concept artist, illustrator or designer, since that's what I'm more skilled at and what I enjoy the most. I believe this could be a great opportunity for me to grow up as an artist, improve my skills and get into the industry. I'm currently working on my iPad Pro, using both Procreate and Medibang Paint. I work on a PC using ClipStudio and Photoshop.
About my art skills, I like how I work with vibrant and saturated colours and my flexibility when it comes to styles, since I can easily adapt to any style proposed. I like to get out of my comfort zone and learn as much as I can. On the other hand, I can easily tell what my customers wish for and I consider I have great imagination and creativity for my designs. I also have knowledge about animal anatomy that has proven been useful when it comes to designing beasts and monsters.
I’m able to start working in 15 days since I got notified if it's a contract. If it's freelancer opportunities I may have immediate availability. I don't have a fixed rate so I'm absolutely open to negotiate my salary. My preference is remote work from Spain.…Greetings,

Paloma Rodera, (Madrid, 1987) is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher. She holds a Microsociology PhD in theater from the Complutense University of Madrid. She holds a degree in Fine Arts and a Master in Theatre and Performing Arts. Currently she is completing her training with the degree in Philosophy.
Her work has been exhibited in several spaces in Spain, Italy, Argentina and United States; and it is part of permanent collections in museums and contemporary art spaces. As an artist works with different disciplines, among which are performance art, photography and sculpture. The main focus of its parts focusing on interpersonal communication and deep reflection on art in society and the figure of the artist.
She works as a consultant and art critic for Guirado Estate Foundation and writes in several specialized publications in art as Culturamas (of which she is Editor) or El Duende, among others. Her signature is on several publications on sociological and cultural rights in the academic and professional research. Also she gives lectures on urban space and contemporary art.
In a commitment to teaching is professor, within and outside academia, teaching several experimental laboratories with different themes; related to the performing arts and the practical application of their profits in other disciplines, as well as seminars in the field of contemporary culture and methods of analysis.
She is also a graphic designer, doing work of corporate image building for different projects and companies. Notable for her clean and maintained line work, understanding the communicative purpose of any product design as a marketing strategy by the customer.
She speaks four languages: English, French, Italian and Spanish. She has made various translations in these languages for texts related to art and culture.
