I'm a cross-disciplinary musician who specializes in composing and producing background music, especially for video games.
I also have experience with video editing, visual design, and software engineering, and am skilled at bringing multiple disciplines together to make a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Most notably, I am a joint recipient of an Emmy™ award for Outstanding Creative Achievement In Interactive Media Within A Scripted Program (Westworld), awarded in September 2017. In this project I made use of my vast cross-disciplinary skills in software engineering, graphics programming, sound design, video editing, and audio production.
I have composed soundtracks for quite a few small independent games, many of which won top honors for sound and music in their respective game jams, and as the lead composer for the [Trans Academy](https://transacademy.org/) I have composed and produced soundtracks for many of our outreach and promotional videos, with very fast turnaround. In November 2021 I produced an entire album and feature-length music video, [Lo-Fi Beats to Grind Coffee To](https://beesbuzz.biz/lfb), with all composition taking place in November and all video taking place throughout November and December. The video was a combination of video I shot myself, repurposed stock and promotional video, stock graphics/assets animated using Final Cut Pro as a compositor, and videos contributed by random Internet people who wanted to take part in the project. This video was displayed in the [Seattle Center on Contemporary Art](https://cocaseattle.org/) gallery as part of a month-long exhibition in 2023.
