I am a songwriter currently based in Windhoek, Namibia. I mostly write Pop, RnB, Reggae and Christian songs. I particularly enjoy writing inspirational songs because, the way I see it, we all need some positive vibes and a little upliftment right.
Music has always fascinated me because of the effect that it has on people and also because of its ability to unite people. Some of the songwriters from whom I get my songwriting inspiration from are Diane Warren, Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Bob Marley, John Legend, Taylor Swift, Pharrell Williams, Pink, Adele and Michael Jackson.
My objective in joining Twine was to showcase my songs and hopefully engage with producers or performing artists who think that my songs are good enough for them to perform and with other songwriters for collaboration.

My name is Richard van Wyk, I am 23 years old. I live in Windhoek, Namibia.
I have been making beats with Fl Studio from the age of 16, back when I was still in high school. I haven't shared much of my work yet and have a number of projects that I have done as well as what I did halfway only (too many ideas & mostly been practicing). I make hip/hop, R&B, Reggae, dubstep, Afro House and Electro beats.
Apart from making music I also spend most my time doing graphic desiging and photo manipulation using Adobe Photoshop, I do morphing, dispersing, covers and more, everything I see and want I do better on photoshop. I also use CorelDraw for designing as well as digitizing my work and exporting it.
I only started now into dedicating more time into this because I want my work to be know, but mostly helping talented artists with their music career.
I also advice on music and give ideas to kick it up a notch.
