My focus when filming/shooting photos is to combine action and observation. I don't detach myself from what is happening behind the camera, I want to be there and connect to the moment. I consider that there is no emotion in an image if there is no presence in the making. As I am a performing artist myself, I understand the language of the scene and I can dig into what's going on.
