Software Engineer at Sybridge Technologies

Daily tasks include: assisting Engineering Department (mobile division), maintaining code base, collaborating with peers and managers for projects, communicating across global locations, taking initiative on project creation and goals. Below are listed are my major projects with a brief description and notable skills associated, along with my various minor projects from my time with Sybridge. Purchasing Control Panel (VB.NET / SQL / Excel) Designed and created an interactive desktop application. It read BOM information from the database (uploaded via the designers after completing design). List jobs in a queue and displays each BOM line item. The vendor and price is predetermined and can be modified. The user then uploads the job information directly into the JobVision database as a requisition. Each requisition is then saved in Excel format to the job folder, separated by vendor. Notable skills: Convenient application that automates redundant tasks. Complex queries. Component Line Ups (VB.NET / SQL) Designed and created an app that was able to maintain step by step instructions for Prep Department. Able to maintain instructions via desktop application. The app will read and write to the database. There is a search functionality that allows the user to easily find each “line-up”. The user can edit, add, or remove instructions. The “line-ups” will then be transferred to a “job book” for each job. Notable skills: Read and write directly to SQL server using VB.NET. Filter and populate a form.
