I have spent forty years in the music industry as a recording engineer, producer, and mix engineer. I’ve worked with major record companies such as EMI, Sony, Chrysalis, BMG, RCA, Island, Rough Trade, Factory, and Domino, and with a wide range of bands and artists including The Christians, China Crisis, The Farm, PJ Harvey, Ladytron, Justice, John Lennon’s Quarrymen, Pete Best, Starsailor, Goldblade, Tyler, Danny McCormack, Tommy Scott, Paul Hemmings, Martyn Campbell, Abi Harding, Denise Johnson, and many more. I’ve designed and built both commercial and private studios, even building my own equipment, always aiming for excellence, integrity, and a human touch in art and innovation. I love inspiring clients to achieve their dreams while enjoying the journey of making music. I studied Popular Music and Recording at the University of Salford and am honored to count Sir George Martin as a patron. My career has taken me from London and Liverpool to studios around the world, including Merwas Studios in Riyadh and Beast House Studios in Saudi Arabia, where I’ve collaborated with leading producers, engineers, and artists.
