PROFILE I’m an experienced senior graphic designer with 20+ years experience in the industry. I currently work as a self employed freelancer from my studio based in rural Surrey. I have a BA Honours in Graphic Design. Over the years I have worked on various brands, often from conceptual stage, and have always held a passion for typography and stunning photography. Previously I have worked within an award winning design agency in Kent, a large in-house creative team, a London based design agency, and also a busy creative advertising agency. My current employment consists of working as a self employed graphic designer with a varied range of clients, for both small local enterprises to more established business sector clients. One of my larger long term corporate clients is Colas Ltd, a large transport infrastructure company. I work within a small design team alongside the marketing manager, producing a varied range of printed, digital and social media design. Alongside this part time role I have a diverse mix of my own clients covering the corporate, retail and hospitality sector, utilising design for print and online. Along with creativity, this role also involves a plethora of skill-sets and core skills that are required to run a small business. CORE SKILLS Fully proficient in the CS Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator). Producing tender and pitch documents (Pitch Decks). Highly creative with a keen eye for detail. Managing deadlines, budgets, scheduling, quoting and invoicing. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy and challenging environment. Trustworthy, conscientious and self motivated. Excellent communication skills and used to collaborating with clients face to face and remotely. Liaising with companies and external suppliers on a regular basis.
