I'm a lifestyle marketing and PR freelancer, specialising in working with hospitality, travel and retail clients. I can advise on marketing, PR and content strategy across digital and traditional to drive traffic to websites, and footfall to venues, as well as generating PR coverage in key media titles. I also work on creative and experiential campaigns, including event marketing, and have curated and managed multiple small and large scale events. This includes everything from bar and food pop ups, to brand marketing events, fashion shows and multiple launch parties, for bars and restaurants. My experience covers retail, travel and hospitality for both independent and big brands including; a boutique collection of hotels in Sri Lanka, a portfolio of 10 independent bar and restaurants In Manchester and multiple hotels in Mexico. Brand work includes; The North Face, Aldi, Holiday Inn, Hangzhou Tourism Commission and Discover Africa. Some of my key achievements include; Working with a portfolio of six hotels in Sri Lanka, implementing content and digital strategy across the group along with multiple web development projects, art direction and photography shoots, as well as a new hotel launch. Successfully launched two restaurants and several bars in Manchester, along with multiple re-branding campaigns across all digital and traditional touch points. Managing a targeted PR campaign for Discover Africa to secure high value SEO links from international online media, to improve SEO and Google rankings and overall sales Working with Purple Riot I helped to produce Love Fashion: Manchester – an event to showcase independent and upcoming designers as part of the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out event in Manchester. I worked on the award-winning digital campaign to re-launch The Blue Pig bar. The integrated branding, social media, PR and events campaign won a Blue Chip Award. My down-to-earth personality, but results focused attitude helps me to build and maintain excellent client relationships and ensure I am always a well-liked member of any team.
