Hero Jr. has spent the last three years touring the country with 150-200 shows a year at clubs and festivals including support for Tom Petty, The Offspring, Queensryche, The Answer, Tantric, Alice Cooper.... Hero Jr. is in their element on stage where no two adventures are the same. The legendary audio company Klipsch has embraced and supported the Hero Jr. vibe by including them as one of a few artists in their Emerging Artists program for 2015. Klipsch has supported the 6-6-LIVE project from conception to completion and is an integral member of the Hero Jr. Family.. 6-6-LIVE was recorded in Indianapolis, IN at Grove Haus. The special all ages show is unedited and has not been overdubbed, catching the band in a dynamic and inspired show. No two Hero Jr. concerts are the same. The band stretches and twists the songs at will depending on where each show takes them. Included in this magic 6-6 set is a rare cover of The Beatles classic Eleanor Rigby, and unrecorded live staples MRIM, Witness and Take. Fan favorites Bottom Of The End and Anne Boleyn find new lives in extended jams along with a selection of tunes from the band's first four studio recordings. A good chunk of Hero Jr.’s hours in the tour van are spent listening to comedy and podcasts. The band members are fascinated and inspired by the similarities between comedy and rock music. The comics’ stories of hardcore rejection, growing ‘thick skin’, and sticking to and fighting for their beliefs while moving up the food chain resonate deeply within the band. Hero Jr. continues to combine the tradition of Midwestern hard hitting rock music with a twist of 70s British, and have been described as comfortably familiar yet completely unique.
