Visiting Amsterdam with Copenhagen's best composers

Dear Mix/Mastering Engineer

I am Kianoush Yazdanyar, a Copenhagen-based music composer, copyright lawyer and project manager of a trip to Amsterdam for 8 music composers during Amsterdam Dance Event '20.

I am looking for a nice studio we can visit.

THE DANISH BUMA/STEMR
I am writing on behalf of the Danish collecting society DJBFA and KODA (the equivalent to BUMA/STEMR). Every year DJBFA allocates large sums of money for its members to spend on the so-called “Arbejdsophold” - which in Dutch would probably translate to “Werkbezoek” :o)

The purpose of these trips is usually to gain network, obtain knowledge and/or develop a specific product for the ecosystem of the Danish music industry.

ADE
We are visiting ADE with 8 music composers (a mix of producers, instrumentalists and topliners).
My budget is approx. 30.000€, but since The Netherlands is not a cheap country to visit, most of the budget is used on hotel, food, transport and the ADE Conference wristband.

I still have a small budget (1.000-1.500€) for some special activities though.

COLLABORATION
Besides visiting the conference-activities for networking, working on our own musical projects and going to concerts, I wanted the 8 music composers to:

Meet an Amsterdam-based electronic producer/sound engineer in his/her studio and work on 1 or 2 tracks for half a day - or maybe a whole day. Preferably, we would work on tracks that the Danish composers sent in advance. The producer/sound engineer would show his workflows and how he works with the tracks (mix/master). It is important that we have sufficient space for 10 persons - especially during these Covid-19 times.

CAN YOU HELP?
Unfortunately, I don’t have a great network in Amsterdam, but I imagine that you do.

If it is a success, a trip like this will be an annual “Werkbezoek” in the future. I hope we can make the best Werkbezoek for the composers.

PRACTICAL
Dates: As for now we will arrive Tuesday, OCTOBER 20, 2020 and leave again Sunday, OCTOBER 25, 2020. Studio days could be OCTOBER 21 or 22.
Place: We will stay at Avenue Hotel (Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 33, 1012 RD Amsterdam, Holland).
