A new logo for a Farm Animal Sanctuary

With my recent experience at Aimee’s Farm Animal Sanctuary I fell in love with the animals, their mission, and Aimee’s bond and dedication to her residents. After visiting I decided I want to do more and help them with their online presence. I think a good place to start would be a new logo.

I would love to incorporate some core elements of Aimee’s sanctuary into the logo:

• the various animals (cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, horses, donkeys, etc)
• the big draw for their tours is the cow cuddling/hugs. See their website as it would be good to have the logo include someone leaning up against a cow with the cow’s head on their lap.
• many who have mental or physical disabilities and struggles come to the farm as the time spent with the animals is very healing for them
• Aimee is truly a one woman show

I like how many of the other farm animal sanctuaries around the country use a silhouette element to their logos. See:

I am not married to the silhouette idea however if you think this can be done in a different way.

I would love to find a color palette and font that we use in the logo that we can easily use on other digital or possible physical future assets for Aimee’s as well.

I would like to see a few various looks as I’m not sure we can incorporate all concepts in one design so might have to make some compromises.

I work with a designer at my job so I understand the processes, but also keeping work and volunteer work separate here.
