Short Film for a PhD

Our team at La Trobe University is studying how people form impressions of people in Australian society.

We are looking for six individuals who:

• identify as Australian-Chinese (3 actors) and Australian-Indian (3 actors)
• are between the ages of 20 and 40 years old and
• were born and raised in Australia
  to participate in an online discussion.

If selected, you will be asked to read a script aloud with five other individuals, which will be recorded via Zoom. It is important that actors know the script so the interaction looks natural online. The audio and visual recording will be used in a subsequent study.

This research is conducted as part of a PhD thesis, submitted to the Department of Psychology and Counselling, La Trobe University.
