Hi there,

This project is a passion project written/directed by Los Angeles-based filmmaker Priya Lorenz (feral.work) and New Zealand-based filmmaker Vanessa Vandy (vanessavandy.com). It is a passion project with goals of going to festivals later on down the line and for being a strong portfolio piece for all those involved. There will be no spoken dialogue and the soundscape (TBD during post production) will be poetic voiceover and a subtle musical score. The overall theme of the film is people coming together and connecting during and after pandemic times. The core of the film is the things that CONNECT us to each other rather than what sets us apart. Now, more than ever, we need that sense of connection.

We are looking for actors from diverse backgrounds and of all ages to play various roles in the film which will be shot during the course of several weekends over the next few months. Each actor will be needed for a 1-2 day shoot in Auckland and will be paid a day fee as negotiated.
