Javascript TWINE storyline

Is it possible to design a program that tests for responses from user and stores those into a global variable which is then tested by the program ? Javascript if posible.

Also is it possible to watch the program go through the pages testing for responses or is that behind the scenes? for programming better code is all I would like to view where the program may be getting hung up at.

This will be testing for a variable in a page response and submit that response to the global variable.
If global variable reaches a limit it will send the code back through the pages again to confirm the responses are correct from the user.
