I am in the planning stages for illustrations that will be added to a world map that will be rendered in metal. The exact fabrication method is still under discussion, and that will affect the line resolution, but we’re looking for something with an antique woodcut style. I’m creating the map and another group is handling the fabrication for the end client. We are looking for a mix of old and new ship imgery, and real and imagined sea animals (sea monsters for the modern age). Not whimsical or cartoony, totally straight faced.
