Position Summary

We’re looking for a graphic designer who wants to be a part of a small agency setting that caters to clients all over the country. You’ll get to help solve problems and design collateral for clients that build their brand and improve the quality of their marketing. Must be a creative who is open to collaborating with others, accepting feedback, and having a great attention to detail. Some examples of projects include: email templates, social graphics, campaign collateral, maps and unique projects. You’ll be coordinating with a team of designers and account managers to meet deadlines and pitch new ideas. What you will be doing:

• Design Execution: Assist in creating visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for a wide range of projects, including print and digital media. Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all materials.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the in-house marketing team and client contacts to understand project requirements and goals. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative design ideas that align with project objectives.
• Production Support: Prepare files for print and digital distribution, ensuring accuracy, proper formatting, and optimization for different mediums. Assist in the management of design assets, including organizing files and maintaining a library of resources.
• Concept Development: Participate in the creative process by researching design trends, industry best practices, and competitor analysis. Contribute to the development of visual concepts for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Feedback Incorporation: Accept constructive feedback from the team and clients, and apply it to improve designs and meet project requirements. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in incorporating revisions while maintaining design integrity.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project objectives. Identify and resolve any visual or technical issues that may arise during the design process.
• Learning and Growth: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design software advancements, and emerging technologies. Continuously develop your skills and knowledge in graphic design to enhance your creativity and contribute to team growth.

What you will need to bring:

• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
• Knowledge of print and digital production processes and file formats.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating creativity and technical skills.

• Familiarity with HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with Email Marketing or ESPs (MailChimp/Hubspot)
• Experience in Web layout/design
