POSITION OVERVIEW

The Freelance UX/UI Designer will support user-centered experience strategy, design concepts, and production-ready design assets to deliver a cohesive and meaningful guest experience across our digital touch points. The candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should also have superior user interface and design skills. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level site requirements into elevated, intuitive, and functional designs.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support User Experience and conversion-driving design upgrades and interfaces for Nililotan.com, on both desktop and mobile instances. Partnering with the web team with their defined requirements, execute all visual designs to hand-off to tech development team.
• Partner with Web Team to create designs for A/B testing scenarios, leading to improvement in conversion rate and average order value.
• Bring extensive knowledge, experience, cultural context, and creative input to our projects while staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design.
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
• Design solutions that are consistent with brand guidelines and that meet accessibility standards, working collaboratively with Web & Developing teams to create compelling interactive experiences.
• Visually communicate ideas and iterations with stakeholders through sketches, wireframes, flows, mockups, and prototypes.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 3-5 years work experience as a professional UX/UI Designer. Experience in the Luxury Fashion industry a plus.
• Skilled user of Figma and Adobe’s Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro/After Effects).
• Strong knowledge and prior experience with website design UX/UI best practices and principles.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various internal stakeholders including the CEO and Web team.
• Showcases a strong online or digital portfolio.
