Static Media is seeking a freelance, data-savvy individual who is looking to get experience in content strategy and SEO for our publishing network. You’ll help our data analysts pull and prepare data, reports, and audits to help guide our content teams.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize internal and third-party tools (such as Google Analytics, Search Console, etc) to pull data and reports that will be interpreted by our analysts
- Analyze trend tools and search reports to collect and organize trends data for use by the data team and content team
- Follow existing SEO processes (and help us develop new ones) to deliver keyword reports, competitor reports, and other guiding resources
- Aid in the conception of internal reporting tools that will make data more accessible to our editors and writers
- Interpret proprietary data to optimize on-page recommendations (such as the “Next Article” suggestion field)
- Learn new tools and skills as needed to increase impact on the team and expand responsibilities
Requirements:
- Passion for and proficiency in data and reporting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A solid understanding of technology and the internet
- Creativity, self-sufficiency, and eagerness to learn
- Experience in a SEO or data-related role or educational background is a plus but not required
Compensation: $16 - $21 per hour, depending on experience
