Job Summary

The purpose of the Production and Technical Director is to provide direction and leadership for all technical and live production aspects of weekend worship services at Liberty Church Gulf Breeze Campus. This position has the responsibility of overseeing all teams & operations of sound, lighting, and media/video.

Experience, Knowledge and Ability Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of production leading in a local church including sound engineering.
• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Word & Excel.
• Ability to learn and use Church Community Builder (CCB).
• Ability to learn and use Planning Center Online.
• Proficiency in ProPresenter.
• Proficiency in audio, lighting, and video fundamentals.
• Ability to coordinate and effectively execute the technical aspects of a worship experience with a team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Lead Production Team members and facilitate the services as assigned by the Campus Pastor and/or Worship Pastor.
• Oversee the Production Team (incl. audio) including the recruitment, training, scheduling, communication, and coordination thereof.
• Assist the Worship Pastor in the planning and implementation of all Production elements of services & events at the local campus (and as needed for church-wide).
• Oversee and lead the recruiting, team building, training and continued equipping of the Production Team.
• Ensure all aspects of audio, lighting & media/ProPresenter are prepped for weekly services.
• Contact potential Production Team/Team Liberty members and walk them through the process of becoming a member of the Production Team.
• Assist in the care of the Production Team/Team Liberty members.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of department projects & goals with the Worship Pastor and Campus Pastor.
• Help manage the allocated budget and expenses of the Production Department.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Worship Pastor and Campus Pastor with needs of the campus.
• Assist the Worship Pastor by maintaining accurate and up-to-date information of the Production Team members on Planning Center Online and Church Community Builder.
• All other duties as assigned.
