Future Studios is one of the world’s leading producers of short-form factual and social content, creating and distributing digital content for huge global audiences, brands, clients, and platforms. As well as producing content for its original documentary channel, Truly, it creates video for all of Future’s huge portfolio of market-leading brands. Future Studios is expanding - and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Video Editor to join our team working across our gaming brands. Video plays an increasingly important role for Future’s huge portfolio, and you will be at the heart of creating this.

What You’ll Be Doing

We’re now looking for a Social Video Editor to join our team across our gaming brands. You will work with the Future Studios video team and brand editorial teams to produce engaging short-form video content for Future’s key gaming brands, GamesRadar and PC Gamer. In this exciting new role, you will produce engaging, topical video that works across the key social video platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. You will work closely with the editorial teams to ensure we are publishing content that is covering the trending stories of the day in gaming, as well as pitching ideas that would make great topical content. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Experience That Will Put You Ahead Of The Curve…

• Working in a fast-paced professional video post-production environment with the ability to juggle multiple edits.
• A proven interest in gaming and gaming coverage in the media.
• Experience producing video content for social platforms such as TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram would be a big advantage.
• An understanding of different social media video platforms’ content and audience.
• End-to-end editing of short-form video packages in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including offline, grading, audio mixing, and using music and graphics.
• Experience in a post-production or a professional editing environment.
