Job Description
Epic Bridges Developer NHS: Be responsible for the complete build, deployment and testing of bridges, InterSystem and .NET / 3rd party interfaces. They will be experienced in developing HL7, IHE, FHIR, .NET or other technical interfaces on the Epic / InterSystems. Liaise with the workstream configuration and clinical leads to understand the interface and integration requirements. The individual will then create and manage interface developments, aligned to the Trusts IT change management methodology.
- Developing the interfacing and integration strategy for the Trust
- Define, develop, publish and be the custodian of the Trusts Epic bridges interfaces
- Development and management of interfaces in the appropriate technology (HL7, .NET, IHE, FHIR etc.)
- Testing and assuring interfaces as required through the Epic environments
- Release interfaces through the environments ensuring that interfaces retain the quality and integrity through the release lifecycle
- Work with stakeholders to understand and oversee the highly complex interfacing needs of the Trust
The Successful Applicant
- Certification or demonstrable working knowledge of integration solutions (HL7, FHIR, IHE)
- Certification or demonstrable working knowledge of Interface Configuration or Development Certification (Epic or another)
- Experience of Cross Functional Process - Electronic Workflow Implementation
- Extensive experience designing & delivering interface/integration solutions
- Extensive experience designing & delivering interface platforms and systems (Epic, Cerner, InterSystems, BizTalk etc.)
- Extensive experience of ITIL processes (Change, Release, Incident Management)
- Experience of NHS / Healthcare Interface development
