About the opportunity

We’re looking for a seasoned, versatile Principal Product Designer to join our Endeavor Events & Experiences Technology team. This position reports to the VP of Design.

This role works continuously alongside cross-functional teams of PMs and developers to shape experiences that are simple, polished, scalable, and thoughtful. Your insights and leadership will directly influence world-class platforms to powering live event experiences around the world. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Guide the visual language, design systems and operational processes that provide a world-class customer experience across a wide surface area of events and experiences products.
  • Own and craft complete user journeys and product designs – from concepts and prototyping to testing and shipping.
  • Uphold the quality and craft of design through all points of the user experience, mentoring and guiding a team of product designers along the way.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders and other supporting teams to shape and implement design strategies impacting multiple verticals of the business.
  • Develop and present the narrative of strategic design solutions and directions to peers, senior stakeholders, and internal/external business partners.
  • Shape and contribute to the overall design of interrelated platform products while zooming into critical components to execute on a tactical level.
  • Facilitating product design team exercises, explorations, and ceremonies.

What we’ll look for in you…

  • At least 10+ years in a professional IC role leading design, influencing strategy and shipping web and mobile B2C products at scale.
  • Your portfolio shows a history of excellence in the craft of UX and UI. Your work is precise, thoughtful, thorough, refined, and polished.
  • You’re a natural player-coach, a patient listener, and clear communicator.
  • You’ve got a firm grasp of business metrics and their relationship to product design.
  • You have strong prototyping skills that demonstrate your ideas, processes, and interactions.
  • Your ability to articulate your decisions to others with clarity and thoughtful reasoning.
  • You ask smart questions to absorb different perspectives from UX Research, Product, and Engineering to develop a well-reasoned design approach.
  • You demonstrate a fluency in Figma and component-based design systems and methods.
  • You are versatile across platforms and form factors – from native apps to web, small screens to large, internal to external customers.
