Audio/Video Editor - Producer

Edits video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sound effects, media management and archiving project media. Other key responsibilities include leading photoshoots, creating shot lists, casting talent, coordinating logistics, and collaborating with other departments to ensure the video meets business objectives. The video producer and editor is expected to bring creativity to the office and participate in brain Company marketing strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner in brainstorm session to aid in planning social strategy
Record and edit video and sound projects
Selecting program format for final output
Capturing/importing media
Organizing raw media and editing footage and sound files
Creating and inserting static and motion graphics
Adding music/voice-over/sound effects
Media management and archiving project media
Leading and organizing photoshoots (creating shot lists, casting talent, coordinating logistics, and collaborating with other departments)

QUALIFICATIONS

Self-starter with proven experience (1-2 years) as a videographer/editor, content creator, and/or experience working on a professional video set
Varied experience in commercial settings, freelance, and corporate environments preferred
Strong editing and lighting skills – demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically photoshop, premiere pro, and aftereffects)
Skills in onscreen text and graphic creation and integration
Knowledge of all required video equipment; drone experience and/or drone certification is a plus
Ability to effectively communicate creative vision and adapt to a diverse audience, including on-set actors/models, to deliver high-quality content
Strong collaboration skills driven by a passion for teamwork and a strong belief in the power of collective effort to achieve the department’s goals
Comfort with dynamic, high growth entrepreneurial company and culture
