Job Description:

As a Freelance Videographer at Youth Group, you will be an integral part of our video production team. This role is all about capturing captivating footage that tells compelling stories, and it comes with the exciting opportunity for international travel. Please note that this position is primarily focused on videography and does not involve video editing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our creative team to understand project objectives and deliverables.
• Travel internationally to various locations to capture high-quality video footage.
• Operate a range of professional camera equipment and accessories to ensure the best shots.
• Set up and maintain lighting, audio, and camera equipment on location.
• Frame and shoot scenes creatively, considering angles, composition, and lighting.
• Ensure footage is of the highest quality, resolution, and clarity.
• Capture dynamic and engaging footage for a variety of projects, including documentaries, commercials, and promotional videos.
• Adapt to different shooting conditions and environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
• Work efficiently and professionally to meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with the post-production team to transfer and organize footage.
• Maintain and care for all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a freelance videographer with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in operating various video cameras and equipment.
• Excellent understanding of camera techniques, composition, and lighting.
• Ability to adapt to different shooting conditions and environments.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for capturing captivating visuals.
• Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
