Banana Box Studios : Masked - Short Animation

We are a group of 10 animation students from Sheridan College looking to hire a music composer for our short film project, “Masked”.
The film is a 8 minute fully hand drawn animated short film! We are very excited and passionate about this project, so we hope that you share that same passion for your craft!
Our film takes place in a Chinese opera house (Peking opera), so we are hoping the music can reflect and be inspired by traditional Chinese music. Potentially containing instruments such as the Pipa, Erhu, or Guqin. Our reel contains music that we were hoping could be a base or jumping off point for the composer.

The film will be entered into various festivals and we need a composer to help bring our vision to life.
The project is a student short film and we are in need of a composer with experience in creating original scores.

The project needs to be completed by early April, with a budget of $200-400 CAD.
The composer can work remotely and we prefer a style similar of music to the examples provided in our reel!
