Job Description

Global player is looking for an Unreal Engine Engineer to join a welcoming team. The ideal candidate must have experience collaborating in large development teams, knowledge of business processes and manufacturing, and excel in a proactive, team-oriented environment.

Project Details:

  • Position: Unreal Engine Engineer
  • Start Date: 15.08.2024, latest 15.09.2024
  • Workload: Flexible, 2 to 4 days a week
  • Duration: Until 31.12.2024
  • Location: 3 days on-site introduction, then remote work, 1 day per month on site if required

Tasks:

  • Create and refine VR and first-person interaction features in Unreal Engine
  • Translate UI/UX designs from Figma into interactive elements within the VR environment
  • Develop and test new VR interface concepts using tools like ShapesXR, and integrate them into the project
  • Conduct performance testing and optimization to ensure smooth VR operation
  • Identify improvements and develop new features based on project needs and user feedback

Requirements

  • Skilled in managing projects from initial concept through to final roll-out
  • Experienced in working as a UE Developer within sizable development teams
  • Familiar with industrial applications such as Industrial Metaverse and Digital Twins
  • Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace new ideas
  • Excellent team collaboration skills and a motivated, self-driven work ethic
  • Fluent English skills, German is a plus
