Job Description

We are looking for a skilled UX Designer to join our client’s team on a contract basis. Our client is an innovative company specializing in data visualization and spatial data solutions. They are relaunching one of their key software mapping products and require a UX designer to enhance the user journey and improve the look and feel of the product. As a UX Designer, you will work onsite with our client (twice per week) to evaluate and enhance the user experience of their software products. Your primary focus will be on refining the user journey, recommending visual and navigational improvements, and ensuring the product design aligns with the expectations of C-Suite users. This role involves close collaboration with the client’s product teams, providing insights and guidance on best practices for user interface design in a data visualization context.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in data visualization and enterprise software.
• Expertise in designing for executive-level users, with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Proficiency in design tools.
• Experience working with data visualization tools and platforms.
• Any experience in creating or design of maps would be a huge advantage.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex user journeys and propose intuitive navigation solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.
• Ability to work independently while onsite and collaborate closely with the client’s team.
