Job Description
InvincibleGG is searching for an experienced application and game designer who will build and lead a design team to create our products going forward. You’ll enjoy working with experienced and passionate people, on challenging projects with great personal growth. Responsibilities
- Oversee the areas of development as it pertains to the design team.
- Lead the supporting game designers through mentorship and growth.
- Transform conceptual ideas into fully fleshed out designs with the design team.
- Maintain centralized documentation on all areas of the game.
- Collaborate with other members of leadership on all aspects of the game’s development.
- Conceptualize, implement, and balance game content through industry-standard tools.
- Use various tools for rapid data-driven feature iteration.
- Scripting of game content through popular languages.
- Work (and collaborate) with other teams to develop content and features.
- Manage design staff (performance reviews, regular check-ins, etc.).
- Transfer the all-inclusive creative vision and concise feature requirements to the team.
- Create clear and specific game design documents.
- Guide the initial prototyping, gameplay pacing, tuning and balancing, first user experience, progress and difficulty ramp through the game evolvement.
- Game balancing.
- Draw up new ideas and concept proposals.
- Review industry best practices and competitor products.
Requirements
- A serious passion for games and able to break down and articulate their strengths and weaknesses.
- Ability to receive and offer constructive feedback to iterate and improve upon content and features.
- Minimum 6 years game industry experience (2 within a leadership or management position), and multiple shipped titles.
- Deep understanding of Social Mobile games, Social Casino games, collectible card games, multiplayer online battle arena games, and massively multiplayer online games.
- Experience with Unity is desirable.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Lua, Python, TypeScript) is a plus.
- Experience using office software (e.g., Excel, Word, Google office products).
- Strong systems design ability with an eye toward both feature development and live operations.
- Game Design degree or equivalent professional (or hobbyist) experience.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent professional (or hobbyist) experience.
- Experience working with licensed products.

Additional Information
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Education: Bachelor’s (Preferred)
Experience: Game industry: 3 years (Preferred)
