Job Description

Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. We are looking for experienced Machine Learning experts to lend their expertise to train generative artificial intelligence models. This freelance opportunity is remote, with flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever is best for you.

Requirements

Candidates may contribute their expertise by:

• Assessing the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models
• Crafting and answering questions related to Machine Learning
• Evaluating and ranking domain-specific responses generated by AI models

Examples of desirable expertise include:

• A bachelor’s or higher degree in Machine Learning or a related subject
• Experience working as a Machine Learning professional
• Ability to write clearly about concepts related to Machine Learning in fluent English

Payment

Currently, pay rates for core project work by Machine Learning experts range from $30 to $50 per hour USD. Rates may vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs, while lower rates may apply for non-core work. Some projects offer incentive payments, so please review the payment terms for each project.
