Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Apigee Developer based in Dallas, Texas, who will drive successful Apigee X deployments in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role requires providing expert guidance on infrastructure design, ensuring secure and scalable environments, and implementing a range of authentication and authorization mechanisms to secure APIs. The candidate will also enhance API security posture, accelerate API delivery through robust CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with various business units to plan, adopt, and implement new versions of API endpoints.

Requirements

Must have skills:

• Apigee-X infrastructure setup
• Proxy development
• Security setup for proxies
• API management
• Practical technical knowledge in GCP serverless and storage services

Responsibilities:

• Drive successful deployments in GCP by providing guidance on infrastructure design.
• Secure APIs by implementing and managing various authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Enhance API security posture and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Accelerate API delivery through CI/CD pipelines and improve release frequency.
• Develop custom Apigee X Shared Flows using advanced JavaScript skills.
• Collaborate with business units for API endpoint planning and implementation.
• Work with the team to remediate API and cloud findings.
• Participate in cadence for task transitions and roadmap progress.
• Engage in agile ceremonies, including refinements and standups.
• Support design, implementation, and documentation of new application build-outs.
• Drive various forms of testing (regression, unit, load, etc.).
• Work with payment device hardware on a daily basis, particularly with In-Store Payment - PIN Pad Integration.
