Payment application modernisation

We are seeking an experienced Java developer to work on the modernisation of a payment processing application for a client. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining a Java-based payment switch, ensuring strong security and PCI DSS compliance, integrating with Thales and Futurex HSMs, and working closely with a cross-functional team including Android developers. Key skills include expertise in Java, application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic), CI/CD, code analysis tools, cryptography, payment processing workflows, frontend development (ReactJS or Angular), API development, modern architecture (microservices, cloud-native), and agile methodologies. Responsibilities also include implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, conducting code analysis, supporting TDD, handling secure development lifecycles, and contributing to business analysis activities to meet user requirements. The role is a remote, full-time contract with the opportunity to collaborate throughout the software lifecycle and deliver a secure, scalable, and high-quality system.
