A one-woman whirlwind of storytelling across platforms: music and video making, podcasting, photography, social media community management, strategy, content creation, event reporting and MAKING THINGS HAPPEN. Most recently I've been working as Communications Manager for complementary currency Bristol Pound and making podcasts for edtech company Jisc. With ten years experience of filming and editing videos for charities, businesses and bands I offer high quality, affordable documentary-style pieces, music videos and rock 'n' roll documentaries alongside event and portrait photography. Previous clients include Music For Youth, Unbound, Chilango, Design Council, British Council India, Giraffe and FSID. I work solo and (previously) with the Amplified Group offering social media reporting for events large and small, for clients including the British Council, Arts Council England, British Council India, IBM, Citizens Advice Bureau, Arts & Business, Cultural Leadership Programme, TM Lewin, Unconvention, Clore Leadership Programme and Fair Trade Futures. A confident public speaker, I have given lectures and led workshops on various aspects of using the web for good including blogging, social media, photography and video skills. As a professional bassist and vocalist I have toured the world playing for the likes of The Penelopes, Viv Albertine, Tricky, Erica Nockalls, Lil' Chris and Alex Parks, with appearances on TOTP, CD:UK, Popworld and a variety of other TV shows, also performing with A-Ha, Duncan James and Mousse T and doing a little singalong spot in the "Fat Man" scene of Extras Season 2 Episode 2 with Mr David Bowie. Finally, as indie rock producer, arranger and solo artist She Makes War I have released four albums, toured the UK and Europe, created a plethora of music videos and started a live revolution with the Breakfast With Apollo shows. I'm available for musical commissions, and my back catalogue is potentially available for your projects.
