SISILAIN
Sisilain means “another side of me” (Akis), portraying the other side of a love. Sisilain was created by Akis on November 2012. Akis’ concept was to perform his own music by himself. The concept then grew to that of a “semi-orchestra”, and was named “hallucination folk orchestra” as a genre by Akis and Amal. Having been joined by some very talented friends, they are now a mini orchestra, together with the goal of delivering songs to the hearts of their listeners. Sisilain’s music and lyrics are, like you, me and all of us, ambiguous. They’re a celebration of all the “other sides of us”.
