Job Description
The WW Apple Retail Engagement, Marketing & Merchandising (REMM) team is looking for an exceptional Photography Post Producer. This role is focused on managing and optimizing the entire retouching pipeline, serving as the central hub for all requests, from intake and scheduling to asset delivery. The Photography Post Producer will oversee sourcing and managing freelance retouchers and managed service vendors, clearly communicating project status to all stakeholders and driving automations to improve imagery consistency and overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Act as the central hub for all retouching requests, managing project intake, asset handoffs, scheduling, and deliveries.
- Design, implement, and continuously refine the end-to-end retouching pipeline to increase efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks in the workflow and drive effective solutions, utilizing new tools or process improvements.
- Develop and drive automations to improve efficiency and consistency of imagery across the retouching function.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with photographers, external retouching artists, creative teams, and production partners ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
- Clearly communicate project status, potential risks, and dependencies to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Act as the key point of contact between the REMM studio and a rotating roster of contractors and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record of successfully designing and implementing production workflows and operational processes.
- Strong experience managing external vendors, including sourcing, negotiation, and quality control.
- Exceptional organizational skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to make quick, quality decisions to keep projects moving forward.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Proactive problem solver.
- Excellent soft skills, able to navigate corporate culture.
- Thrives in a team environment.
- Creative agency or in-house brand experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years as a photography post producer within a brand studio or post production house.
- Demonstrated experience producing complex photography projects from intake through final delivery.
- Experience managing freelance production support, including freelance retouching artists and managed service vendors, including budget management from initial estimates to final invoicing.
