2026 Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival | October 9-11 at EVENT Cinemas George Street
We are looking for a designer to create the official poster for the 2026 Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival. The artwork needs to be bold and commercial to stand out in a busy multiplex foyer, but should also capture the broad and imaginative spirit of speculative genre storytelling, beyond just typical science fiction motifs. Incorporating cultural influences is encouraged as our festival is truly international, featuring films from around the world. The poster will need to include the festival title, dates, location, web address, and allow for QR code integration and partner logos. Standard theatrical one-sheet specs apply, with high-resolution PDF formats and layered versions for both print and digital adaptation. Deadlines are set for the first draft by June 15, final draft by June 29, and all assets by July 6.
