Job Description

As a Reddit Community Manager at Outpost, you will own a client’s presence on Reddit by managing their branded Reddit accounts and subreddit. Your goal is to earn a trusted place within the community, representing brands by engaging in relevant conversations and understanding the client’s voice and offerings. The work involves community engagement, growth, and intelligence, contributing to the brand’s image over a sustained period.

Requirements

• Deep Reddit knowledge: Understanding of Reddit’s culture, including what earns traction and what gets removed.
• Marketing background: Experience in content, social media, SEO, or AEO/GEO; agency experience is a plus.
• Genuine enthusiasm: Passion for the brands you represent and their audience is crucial for effective representation.
• Strong writing skills: Ability to write authentically as a person, not as a marketer, and be comfortable putting your name to a brand publicly.

Additional Information

This is a part-time, freelance role with no fixed hours, requiring 1-2 hours of weekly meetings. Compensation ranges from $1,000 to $3,500 per client per month based on community activity. The position is fully remote, but meetings will typically occur during North American business hours.
